Rakettitiede

Rakettitiede is a software development company specialising in mobile and web development. At the ruins of an awarded and innovative Internet startup, gripped in a paralyzing fear of corporation fealty, five fellows wondered what to do next. They founded Rakettitiede in 2011. Now there are already over 30 experienced Rocket Scientists in the shuttle.

We have worked with many companies of different sizes and shapes in their IT efforts: from startups to listed companies, from mobile applications to sport watches. Many of us have been, or still are, involved in startups. In the startup world, not nailing it fast usually means you’re out of business. We use our experience and creativity to make sure customers' projects hits the budget and schedule and has end users cheering. Our priority is solving the customer’s problem, not maximizing our billable hours. We look at the complete solution, not just the software development part.

Our most important values include respect for people, transparency, professionalism, cooperation, learning, and a “no bullshit” attitude. We only hire people who can take initiative and push things forward when everything is not clear. We do the hard things as well in addition to writing great code.
